Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (Suzuki) is recalling certain model year 2004-2008 Forenza vehicles, and 2005-2008 Reno vehicles manufactured from September 1, 2003, through July 30, 2008. In the affected vehicles, heat may be generated in the headlamp switch or daytime running light (DRL) module which could melt the headlamp switch or the DRL module.
The 2008 Suzuki Forenza is a 4-door, 5-seat Sedan, available in 14 trims, ranging from the Base (M5) Sedan to the Popular (A4) Wagon. Upon introduction, the $14,489 Base (M5) Sedan is equipped with a standard 2.0L, 4-cylinder, engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. a Manual transmission is standard. The $17,689 Popular (A4) Wagon is equipped with a standard 2.0L, 4-cylinder, engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. an Automatic transmission is standard.
